Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions apply generally to all the Services and packages sold by Myseru Tour and Travel Agency (The Company). Please ensure you read carefully the Special Terms & Conditions. Your payment to the company confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The services sold by Myseru (the Company) are subject to availability at the time of booking.
All Tour arrangements, such as ground transportation, International flight bookings, Domestic Air Ticket issuance, Hotel reservation, Meals, Itinerary Designing etc. are to be made by Myseru Tour and Travel Agency /the Service Provider. Unless stated otherwise, these arrangements will be subject to the booking conditions and cancellation provisions of the third party supplier involved if any.
All prices quoted are in all kind of hard currency as well as local currency inclusive of ETHIOPIAN Goods & Services Tax and subject to change without notification.
After confirmation of the services, the clients OR the Agent shall make payments accordingly; Myseru Tour and Travel Agency also enters into a contract on their behalf with hotels and other services rendering Agencies in connection with the tour programs.
- A 50% down payment at the time of booking is required.
Full payment in advance is required to hold reservations made within 60 days from commencement of the tour. No vouchers will be issued until final payment is received in our office. Final payment conditions for certain accommodation and tour products may vary, these are shown on the individual pages. We will advise you in writing of these conditions at the time of booking.
Rates and Price Variations
The Company reserves the right to vary the rates in the event of adverse moments in exchange rates or price rises made by the principals. Additional bookings will be subject to surcharge as appropriate. Rates are: per tour package, accommodation per night, as appropriate to the particular service. Car rental is based on a 24 hour period commencing from the time of pick-up.
If the cost of any service increases due to exchange rate fluctuations, price increases, tax changes or any other reason, you are required to pay the increase when notified by us or you may cancel the booking which may result in cancellation fees. We are not liable in any way if any increase occurs. Rates quoted are appropriate to the particular service at the time of quoting and these rates may change prior to the travel date. All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice.
Items included in the prices or rates of the services are specified in each section. Your tour price does not include: Air transportation (unless specifically stated as included); costs and fees to obtain or extend your passport/s; visa fees and processing fees; inoculations and vaccinations (if required); health certificate; airport taxes and country departure taxes (if applicable); all items of a personal nature including alcoholic beverages, meals not specified in the itinerary, any gratuities, excess baggage charges, cancellation, health, accident and baggage insurance, any transfers not specified in the itinerary, and any items not specifically listed as included.
Used Tour Items
No refund will be made for any unused accommodations, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours or any other unused service. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable (no exceptions).
Standard Cancellation Fee
By the Company:
The Company reserves the right to cancel a tour with justified cause, under the following circumstances:
Upon the occurrence of a force majeure event, the traveler will receive a full refund, less any applicable banking fees and administrative expenses that may correspond as well as any cancellation charges on prepaid services if any.
If the required number of reservations has not been obtained for trips requiring a minimum number of travelers, a 30-day written cancellation notice shall be sent to the traveler, who will receive a full refund, less any applicable handling & banking charges.
By the Traveler
All requests for cancellations must be made in writing to the Company.
The following cancellation fees (once the percentage for the provider/s has been deducted) will apply:
Cancellations received more than 45 days in advance will only have a deduction for administrative fees.
- Cancellation received 45 to 31 days prior to tour date: 25%
- Cancellation received 30 to 15 days prior to tour date: 50%
- Cancellation received 14 to 7 days prior to tour date: 75%
- Cancellation received less than 7 days prior to tour date: No Refund.
Notwithstanding the type of advance cancellation notice the traveler may give, reservations made for long weekends, high season, Ethiopian Epiphany, New Year and Meskel (Finding the true cross) Eve holidays will have non-refundable amounts.
The Company hereby expressly represents that is acting as an intermediary between travelers and entities or persons providing the services described in the itineraries. Consequently, the Company shall not be liable for any deficiency, nor for any accident, damage, injury, delay or irregularity in the services provided, nor for the luggage and other objects belonging to the travelers.
The Company assumes no liability for hotel grading criteria or hotel compliance monitoring. Tour packages and itineraries sent to travelers show hotel grades as officially assigned by local tourism authorities.
The Company assumes no responsibility by reason of bad weather conditions, demonstrations, riots, war or war rumors, or any Act of God or force majeure events outside the control of either party that may adversely affect the tour.
The Company makes every effort to keep all information posted on the website www.myseruethiopia.com; however, neither the Company shall be liable for damages resulting from any errors and omissions in the information provided on the website.
The Company hereby disclaims any liability resulting from any delay, advanced departure or cancellation established by airlines or other carriers, and any and all costs arising there from shall be borne by travelers.
If tours do not have the required minimum number of travelers or if due to any justified reason the Company is forced to cancel any trip, enrolled travelers shall only be entitled to a refund of amounts paid, expressly waiving the right to assert any other claim.
Claims must be made in writing within 30 days after tour completion or after the event that provoked the claim and sent to the address given on contact us.
No claims shall be accepted after such 30-day period.
Hotels check-in time starts at 3 pm on the agreed day, and check-out time is at 11 am of the last day of the stay. In the event arrival is scheduled before 3 pm, the room may not be available until that time. If the customer wishes to extend the stay after the check-out hour, this must be notified at the reception, and the customer must pay directly to the hotel the relevant additional price.
Hotels are not usually liable for objects not specifically placed under custody, or objects that have not been kept at the safety boxes the hotel makes available to travelers.
Hotels are detailed at the end of each itinerary. The company reserves the right to modify one or more of such hotels if necessary, provided always a similar category is maintained. In the event of triple room accommodation, the traveler acknowledges that in most hotels, triple rooms do not exist as such, but are double rooms with an extra bed. Space or comfort limitations in this type of accommodation may imply are accepted by the travelers, who shall hold the hotel and the Organizer free from any liability in relation thereto.
It is the traveler’s sole and exclusive responsibility to have all required documents for the trip. The traveler must have a valid passport and any required visas according to the itinerary chosen. The traveler shall not be entitled to any refund if he or she fails to comply with the above requirements. Travelers will have to pay any expenses resulting from their failure to produce any required documents, in which case the voluntary cancellation policy shall apply. The same shall apply if any country’s authorities deny the traveler entry into their country.
Should you wish to add any services to your arrangements following the confirmation of your holiday, there will be no amendment charge.
Alteration of Routes /Substitution of Accommodation
The Operator takes every care to ensure that itineraries are followed completely. However, unforeseen circumstances (natural disaster, security problem, temporary restrictions by local authorities, etc) may necessitate changes and the Service Provider accepts no liability due to such alterations of routes or substitution of properties. Where properties are substituted, they will be substituted for equal.
The customer declares to understand and accept the conditions described in this page, and such acknowledgment will be reconfirmed by any of the following events
- Payment (partial or in full) of the hired services, by any means of payment.
- Reception of the receipt for the aforementioned services.
- Using any of the parts of the services that have been hired.
